Madam Yoko's Grave

Moyamba Town holds the grave of Madam Yoko (also called Mammy Yoko). She ruled the Kpa Mende Confederacy in the late 19th century and is remembered in Sierra Leone as a national hero.
The Monuments and Relics Commission lists the grave site among its heritage sites in the provinces.
