The Eco-Living Oasis at Kent

The Eco-Living Oasis at Kent is a gated vacation and residential community near the southern tip of the Freetown Peninsula. Its 15 homes are built from interlocking stabilised soil blocks pressed on site and run on 85 kW of solar power. On site are a swimming pool, a restaurant with a mountain view, a shared vegetable garden and private beach access.

Kent public beach is about 500 metres away and boats reach the Banana Islands in around 20 minutes. The estate offers stays as well as guided tours of its architecture and sustainable systems, and a heritage tour of neighbouring Kent village. Its official opening is scheduled for 14 November 2026.
